SUDA Dance Competition
Yesterday I competed in my first dance competition, where I entered the Novice Ballroom event. I only got as far as the second round, but hope to do better next time.
Bryony and Bruce made semi-finals in both team quickstep, and intermediate ballroom :-)
Highlights of the day included Phil and Deepti winning Intermediate Latin. The Imperial D Jive reaching the team final, and even beating the A-Jive, though I totally disagree with that. Chris and Clair (A-Jive) were very impressive, and I personally thought they had a chance of first place. Most notable over all was Oxford getting second place instead of their normal first place. Bristol won, with 1st place in Cha Cha, second in Jive, Fourth in Waltz and I think second in Quickstep.
